When you attend the 4th European Days of Albinism, don’t miss a great opportunity to discover Norway and enjoy outdoor winter activities!

The conference venue is just 50 minutes away from Oslo City Center and 30 minutes from Oslo International Airport. So, why not take a 1 or 2-day visit of Oslo before or after the conference?

Combine winter activities with shopping, dancing, dining and culture! Oslo has more than 40 museums, and beautiful outdoor attractions such as the Akershus Fortress and Vigeland Sculpture Park. In the evening, enjoy the nightlife, the restaurants and the exceptional music scene.

The Hurdal Vision and Activity Center (4th EDA venue and official hotel) is located on the shore of Hurdalsjoen in natural surroundings. It is fully equipped for winter outdoor activities. So, feel free to stay a little longer after the official end of the conference to go cross country skiing, borrow a spark (typical Norwegian kicksled) or go ice-fishing on Hurdalssjoen!

We strongly encourage you to book an extra night at Hurdalsenteret and stay until Sunday 11th March. This will be a great opportunity for you to enjoy the place longer, both outdoor and indoor activities and perhaps spend some time with the YPA participants and the NFFA members who will be holding their annual meeting at the same time.
